Stephen John Young
Stephen John Young of Port Orange, FL was born October 12, 1946 in Zanesvile, OH to the late Ralph Emerson Young and Edith Mary Young nee Bell, and passed away after his struggle with cancer on February 8, 2015 in Port Orange, FL at the age of 68 years.
Stephen was employed by Owens-Corning Fiberglass in Newark, OH for 35 years. He was an avid bicyclist, enjoyed astronomy and travel.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his, sister, Sylvia Wagstaff.
Stephen is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carey J. Taylor Young, brother, Larry Young of Zanesville, OH, and his sister, Phyllis Dunkle of Lexington, OH. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in his name to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar, Port Orange, FL 32129.
A memorial service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery, Zanesville, OH at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Services, Port Orange, FL.
