Steven E Jahn's Obituary
Steven E. Jahn, 73, formerly of Lake James, IN, passed away on September 21, 2024, at his home in Palm Coast, FL. Born on October 28, 1950, Steven was known for his love of family, strong work ethic, and belief in enjoying life to the fullest. He also had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and race cars. He cherished his dog, Maddie, who was a significant source of companionship in his life.
He is survived by his daughter, Jodi (Rodney) Schlatter of New Haven, IN, and his two sons, Steven Jahn II of Fort Wayne, IN, and Brenden Jahn of Angola, IN. Steven also leaves behind five grandchildren: Breanna (Cody) Norris, Gabrielle (Tyler) Schambers, Courtney (Alixzander) Cummins, Spencer Arington, and Shanda Schlatter, as well as 10 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers: Terry (LuAnne) Jahn, Robert (Lisa) Jahn, Scott Jahn, Randy (Sheila) Jahn, Timothy Jahn, and his sister, Amy Stone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith (Pete) Jahn and Clara (Brooks) Jahn.
Steven will be deeply missed by his family and close friends, who will remember his unwavering commitment to hard work, balanced with his ability to have fun and enjoy life's moments. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
