Susan Lee Powers' Obituary
SUSAN LEE (BAKER) POWERS, 57, passed away suddenly on February 25, 2022 in a motor vehicle accident. Susan was born on January 14, 1965, in St. Petersburg, FL, to Margaret Scatchard and the late Harry Baker. She grew up in Sarasota, FL and after graduating from The University of Florida in 1989, moved to Oviedo, FL where she started her family. Susan was a loving and caring nurse at AdventHealth-Winter Park for over 20 years and had recently accepted a new position with AdventHealth-Palm Coast. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Scatchard, daughters Allyson Dougherty (Edward) and Camille, brother Harry Baker III (Allison), nephews Harry IV and Mitchel as well as extended family. Susan was a loving and devoted mother to her daughters as well as her UPAC dance family. Susan was a bright light with the kindest heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5th, 10:00 AM at the University Carillon United Methodist Church, 1395 Campus View Court, Oviedo, FL.
