Susan E.Nestler Zinzow's Obituary
Susan E. Nestler Zinzow, formerly of East Greenbush, New York, and most recently of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, at Stuart F. Meyer Hospice in Palm Coast. She was born on February 9, 1951. Susan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met.
She worked as a cosmetologist for more than 50 years, building lifelong friendships with clients and coworkers alike. Susan had an infectious smile, a loving spirit, and a way of making everyone feel like family whenever they were around her. Susan truly lived life to the fullest. She was adventurous and fearless, enjoying everything from driving race cars to riding snowmobiles, four-wheelers, and three-wheelers. She loved spending time at the beach and cherished every moment shared with family and friends.
Susan endured heartbreaking loss in her life with the passing of her beloved sons, Chuck K. Zinzow and Chad A. Zinzow. The loss of her boys deeply affected her, and she carried that love and sorrow in her heart every day.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Hellen Nestler and Kenneth Nestler of East Greenbush, New York. She was a proud member of the AMVETS Post 113 Ladies Auxiliary in Bunnell, Florida. Susan is survived by her loving husband, Charles Zinzow; her grandson, Zachary Zinzow; her sisters, Phoebe Vonfricken and Amy Legare; and many dear nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her deeply.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at AMVETS Post 113 in Bunnell, Florida. Susan’s beautiful spirit, laughter, and love for life will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
