There are so many things to remember and hold my heart about Terry
Just too that I will share today
1. The day that Jen and SEAN got married Terry brought in McDonald’s just for the wedding party at the reception. He was never short on gestures and humor, always so kind and funny.
2. The other is the convention reminders talk that he gave one year. How he prepared and did that talk was so real and entertaining how he got the audience involved. It’s something that will stick with me for the rest of my life and every year I always think about that talk when I hear the regional reminders.
There are so many things Terry has done in my life to help me spiritually in the congregation. He also taught me that you could have humor. And still be an excellent shepherd in the congregation.
Look forward to seeing him in the new system and telling him stories and having him laugh at me with disbelief as always
I am so sorry to hear of this news. Terry was a huge part of my childhood, being such close friends with my parents. I have so many memories of Disney trips, Mountains, etc. with multiple other families too. This is just one (of probably hundreds!) of the photos of both families.
Oh, and we will always remember Terry when we get the opportunity to re-hang the "Joy Joy! It's a Boy! They said he couldn't do it!" sheet sign in the front yard when one of the Rominger's finally births a BOY! 😂 (So far, we are still 5-0) Yes, we still have the sheet sign he made!
Sending hugs and Praying for comfort for his family. 🙏🏻 ❤️
Terry stood up for me at the risk of something very important to him because he thought it wasn’t right.
Not sure if it’s a lesson so much as a trade. I learned to work on residential air conditioning from Terry.
The beavers favorite memory is our trips in the so called pleasure van as Terry referred it as such. The last one was a short trip to the beach at 30 miles an hour ( it wouldn’t go any faster), the door was broken, brakes would lock up, it would shake when going down the road but somehow we made it to the beach and back. The pleasure was being with terry and Linda a memory that will always be remembered and laughed about.
