Terry Lee Mcdeid's Obituary
Terry Lee McDeid age 62 of Palm Coast Florida passed away peacefully on March 7th, 2026, after a courageous battle with Cancer, surrounded by his loving family. Born on August 24th, 1963 in Auburn NY to Alton and Joan McDeid of Cato NY. Terry graduated from Cato-Meridian High School before having a career at the world famous Camillus Cutlery followed by a career at Emerald Equipment, Liverpool NY. Known for his steadfast work ethic, incredible sense of humor, and kind heart. Terry moved to Florida in 2018. He was a devoted partner to Donna McKenney, a loving father, a zealous grandfather, and loyal friend. He found immense joy in his dog “Capone” and spending time outdoors. Fishing, walking the beach, kayaking, and just exploring new places. Terry has always been a devoted NASCAR and dirt track racing fan. Spending quality time with his grown children and grandchildren brought him incredible happiness. Terry is survived by his partner of 20 plus years, Donna McKenney, his daughter Jessica Carter (Jack Carter), of Liverpool NY. Jennifer McDeid ( David Reese), of Springhill Florida. JayJay McDeid (Justin Shank) of Connecticut. His son Jarrett McDeid (Kim Yeager) of Marcellus NY. His mother, Joan McDeid of Auburn NY His brothers, Michael McDeid (Theresa ) of Webster NY. Scott McDeid (Lisa) of Weedsport NY. Brian McDeid (Kelley) of Cato NY and Blaine McDeid of Union Springs NY. Terry was a proud grandfather to 8 wonderful grandchildren. Alexis, Ariana and Jaxon Carter. Nova, Nyah, and Remington Shank. Kamaria Reese and Ella McDeid. As well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Terry was preceded in death by his firstborn son, Brant McDeid of Marcellus NY. His father, Alton McDeid of Cato NY and his first wife, Patti McDeid of Liverpool NY Terry walked into a room and you knew he was there. He was funny, caring, loud, and way to young to go…
