Tom lived his rambunctious young life in Bear-Creek with his four siblings Elaine, Judy, Jack and Duane along with aunts, uncles, and cousins near by. He attended Oliver Elementary School and Coughlin High School as a young boy, and made many life long friends through his journey.
After high school, Tom kicked off his first business installing carpeting and flooring. Later, he ventured to the Keystone Job Center where he taught and shared his love for many different trades to young adults

Tom was known for being a "Jack-of-All-Trades", always there to lend a hand to anyone building or fixing everything. We can honestly say if you were blessed to be part of his life, you could look around your home and see his special touch and love. Aside from his ability to create and share his talents with his hands,
he enjoyed sharing his love for fishing, hunting and rides in his Jeep and with his family, friends and favorite dogs. Lucky and Lady are now on the long walk with him, and Lexi who stayed behind.
Tom was a strong willed and stubborn man at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal and brave. He was clever and full to the brim with knowledge he gained through all his life experiences.
There are no words that can express how grateful and blessed our family feels towards the ICU nurses and doctors at the AdventHealth Palm Coast Hospital who made sure he was comfortable during his final days. We hope they continue bringing peace and comfort to others in need through their smiles, encouragement, and kindness.
