Thomas Stauffacher's Obituary
Thomas Stauffacher, 58, of Holly Hill, FL passed away peacefully at home under hospice care after a courageous and dignified battle with cancer on October 5, 2024. He was born on December 15, 1965 in Sharon, CT to Otto and Rosmarie (nee Hiltbrunner) Stauffacher.
Thomas was one of the most genuine people you'd ever meet. He had an outgoing personality and a confidence in exactly who he was, how he carried himself, and being himself no matter what others may have thought. You always knew where you stood with him. He certainly would never change to fit into a crowd. It'd be fair to say he was highly intelligent, artistic, fun loving and outgoing, if not a little eccentric at times. Truly, Thomas had a personality larger than life.
As a residential building contractor, building inspector, and son of a talented architect / engineer / building contractor, Thomas could literally build or fix anything. He was also passionate about cars, especially Porches and Volkswagens.
A devout Christian, Thomas lived a life filled with tremendous passion and service towards others. He was the persona of living each and every day to the fullest. He undoubtably enjoyed his time here on earth, but warmly embraced the eternal life promised through his faith. In his final days, he surely knew exactly where he stood and was ready to be forever with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Thomas is survived by his daughter Megan and son Juan. He will be missed dearly by his family and numerous friends from around the country.
