Bob Janson
Tom and I became fast friends about 50 years ago when we were young consultants in different firms. We spent a year together helping Travelers Insurance motivate people for more productivity. The effort became well known and is still written about in textbooks. We stayed in touch over the years and 35 years later we were able to work together at Coopers & Lybrand -and on an advisory board for a CEO. We had a lot of fun in and realized we loved each other.
Tom was one of the most caring and sensitive men I knew. You could talk deeply about anything with him. He loved his family and always talked about them. He loved to laugh and help people. He will be missed.
