Timothy Gene White
Timothy Gene White, 66, of Astor, Florida passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Tim was born on October 12, 1946, in Jackson, Michigan, the son of Charles and Norma White.
He grew up fishing the beautiful creeks and lakes of Michigan, and hunting the State’s fertile fields and forests. Adventure took him to Florida’s Biscayne Bay, the Colorado Rockies, the wine lands of California and numerous countries abroad. He was a loving son, a loyal brother, a devoted father, a proud grandfather and a generous friend. He had an easy going, self-effacing manner and got along with just about everyone. He was a man of his word and could be trusted. He was a lover, a fighter, an artist, a guitar player, a carpenter, a family man, a sailor and a sometime outlaw.
Tim is survived by a daughter, Lisa Raquel Pallak, and two granddaughters, Etolie and Violet, all of Saugerties, NY; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Tom and Dee White of Houghton Lake, MI and Donald “Clint” and Sue White of Palmyra, MI; former wives, Elaine Ehlinger of Burlington, MA and Denise White of St. Cloud, FL, and many other family members and friends who cared about him.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Astor Moose Lodge #2552 on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 1:00 PM. At sundown, Tim’s ashes will be scattered in the presence of friends and family upon the St. John’s River, a place he loved.
All services are under the direction of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service, Port Orange, FL.
