Trudy Trowbridge's Obituary
Trudy Trowbridge, 92, of Palm Coast, passed away on July 29, 2024. Trudy was born in Astoria, New York on March 18th, 1932 and later moved to Miami, Florida. She was a devoted wife and homemaker, raising four children with her husband of 58 years.
Trudy moved to Palm Coast 30 years ago where she enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, playing tennis, golf, mahjong and dominos. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Elks, a member of the Irish Club, Italian-American Club, and the Red Hat Society. With her vivacious spirit, Trudy enjoyed dancing, shopping, baking, playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and getting together with friends. She touched many lives in her 92 years. Her infectious smile and joyful personality will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Trudy was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband, Robert “Bob” Trowbridge, and brother-in-law, Ronald Berceli.
She is survived by her sister, Charlotte Berceli; children, Kenneth (Lucy) Trowbridge, Rose Ferro, Cheryl (Curt) Schoenfeldt and Richard Trowbridge; grandchildren, Kelly (Matt) Russell, Kristy (Ryan) Fishel, Roberto Ferro, Taylor Ferro and Stephanie Trowbridge; great-grandchildren, Micah, Adeline, Zoe and Kali; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 24th, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Palm Coast. Visitation will be at 12pm with Mass at 1pm, followed by a light lunch at the Palm Coast Elks Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Trudy’s memory.
