Born on April 2, 1949, in Atlantic City, NJ, to the late Charles and Doris Small, Vi was a true Jersey girl. As a devoted daddy's girl, she cherished her childhood with one brother and four sisters. Her life was a testament to the power of love and family, serving as a nurturing mother to three girls and one boy and a proud Mimi to twelve grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Vi's dedication and loyalty were evident in her work. She spent 20 years at Casels in Margate, NJ before retiring from Publix Supermarket after 19 years of service. Her colleagues and customers knew her for her unwavering commitment and friendly nature.
Vi now joins her beloved parents, her daughter Michelle, and her brother and sisters in heaven. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and resilience. Her surviving relatives include her younger sister Doris; her lifelong partner of 30 years, Robert; daughters Bo and Vicki; son Jimmy; step-daughters Erica and Megan; daughter-in-law Nikki; sons-in-law Michael, Chris, Keith, and Hector; granddaughters Demi, Madison, Amaya, and Amelia; grandsons Colin, Chase, Aiden, Liam, Vincent, Christopher, Kingston, and Giovanni; great-grandson Leo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Vi's love for the beach, music (especially Elvis), and dancing brought joy to all who knew her. Her love for Robert and passion for Philly sports were well-known, and she cherished every moment spent with friends and family. Her laughter and zest for life were contagious, and she always knew how to light up a room.
