Virginia P. Owens, of Port Orange, FL was born on July 9, 1946 in Eustis, FL to the late Howard and Juanita Van Valkenburg nee Meredith. She passed away on November 4, 2012 at the Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler in Port Orange, FL at the age of 66 years.
She worked as a Beautician, and was a member of the Chapel of Faith, Port Orange, FL. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, swimming, and spending time with her family.
Virginia is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ronald T. Owens of Port Orange, FL. Daughter, Rebecca Bird and husband Jeremy of Port Orange, FL. Sister, Kitty Bruce and husband Jim of Palatka, FL. Two grandchildren, Ashlyn and Amelia Bird of Port Orange, FL, and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Virginia to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
