Wanda L Rivera's Obituary
Wanda Rivera, 68, of Palm Coast, FL, passed away on February 25, 2025. Born on October 9, 1956, in Bangor, ME, Wanda was cherished for her warm heart and welcoming nature. She had the unique ability to connect with anyone she met, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A proud graduate of Dover High School, Wanda's career journey spanned several rewarding roles, with her most fulfilling work being as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Med-Tech, where she found deep purpose in caring for others. Throughout her life, Wanda’s love for sports was ever-present, with her high school years marked by a passion for field hockey, and she would often share her enthusiasm for the Yankees and football with those around her.
Wanda is lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 49 years, Jose; her siblings, Debi and Phil; her two beloved children, Angela and Eric; and her four grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Taylor, Stephen, and Lawton. She is also survived by three cherished great-grandchildren, Baxten, Evelynn, and Hudson, as well as nieces and nephews, Dawn, Joie, Melanie, Mike, Justin, Ezekiel and Nicole.
A memorial service will be held at her home on Saturday, March 15th, from 12 PM to 4 PM. Feel free to arrive and depart at your convenience. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Wanda's memory to the Seacrest Wolf Sanctuary.
