Wayne Walter Elliot's Obituary
Wayne Walter Elliot, 75, of Palm Coast, Florida, passed away on December 3, 2025 with his wife and son at his side.
Born in Albany, New York, Wayne grew up in East Greenbush and attended Columbia High School. He was a self-employed contractor and later was employed by the Town of East Greenbush highway department.
Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. His commitment to his fellow veterans continued throughout his life. He was an active member of several veterans’ organizations and deeply valued the camaraderie they provided.
An avid outdoorsman, Wayne loved fishing, hunting, and riding his motorcycle. He cherished the time he spent with friends and family who shared those passions. He was a life member of the Nassau Sportsmen’s Club, the East Greenbush VFW Post 7338, and AMVETS Post 113 in Bunnell, Florida.
Wayne was predeceased by his parents, George Elliot and Agnes (Stager) Elliot. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Nalley Elliot, his son, Wayne Jr. and daughter-in-law, Jeanine; his sister, Bonnie (Roger) Rodriguez; and his treasured grandchildren, Nina and Leo Elliot. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and the many dear friends he made throughout his life.
Wayne will be remembered for his humor, generosity, his loyalty, and his unwavering dedication to family, community, and country. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
