This memory is from long ago! I think I was in first grade and Bill must have been in 3rd grade. I remember walking to school every morning to our grammar school in Belmont. We were living with our grandparents and our dad in their home. He made sure I got there everyday,and it was not an easy walk,as we had many turns to make yo get there.
We would also go to the candy store and use our allowance to buy the penny candy. We had fun while we lived in Belmont riding our bikes with the baseball cards clipped on.( wish I had those cards now 😄).
Al and I had a really nice visit with Bill and Yvette when they came over to the Our home in the Villages. I made sure to take them to the Eisenhower rec center here. It has a whole lot of memorabilia of the wars our country has been in. I knew he especially would enjoy that,and he did!
RIP BILL, You will be missed !

Bill, I want to thank you for loving and taking care of my best friend and sister. You were and will always be a good man. I wish you ever lasting peace and love in the agterlife. Look over us and know that you were loved by many and left a mark on us all. May God take you into his arms and give you eternal love and greatness. You were ours for the moment but you were called home to suffer no more. You will be missed but celebrated for the lives you touched.

I will Miss you opa. I love you so much, I’m going to miss going to walks on the beach with you and getting ice cream after and hearing you talk and sing you bean song. I wish I got to spend more time with you. But most of all I’m going to miss that you’ll never get to see me get married one day. I love you opa❤️

Bill always had a smile and everyone was family. My grandkids loved him. Enjoyed the special times I spent with him even with his health issues. Favorite memories were when my granddaughter helped him change his shoes. Best was a vacation on my 25th anniversary when Yvette's mom, dad and grandmother were at Disney. Bill and Brian took turns pushing her backwards in a wheelchair so she could see everyone. And her smile when the boys helped her on rides.

This is how I want to remember you my love, smiling with your blue eyes shining! Thank you for bringing laughter, true loyalty and most importantly unconditional love to my life! Watching you struggle these last few years has been the most difficult thing to witness but caring for you, I would do it again. Caring for you has been such an honor never a burden! Bill had the most energetic personality and witty sense of humor! When I visited their home with other friends he made us all feel so welcome! Bill was a wonderful man and he will truly be missed. Rest in peace Bill!
