Donna Sanders
This memory is from long ago! I think I was in first grade and Bill must have been in 3rd grade. I remember walking to school every morning to our grammar school in Belmont. We were living with our grandparents and our dad in their home. He made sure I got there everyday, and it was not an easy walk,as we had many turns to make yo get there.
We would also go to the candy store and use our allowance to buy the penny candy. We had fun while we lived in Belmont riding our bikes with the baseball cards clipped on.( wish I had those cards now 😄).
Al and I had a really nice visit with Bill and Yvette when they came over to the Our home in the Villages. I made sure to take them to the Eisenhower rec center here. It has a whole lot of memorabilia of the wars our country has been in. I knew he especially would enjoy that, and he did!
RIP BILL, You will be missed !
