Winston Laconia Fritz, Sr. January 5, 1943 – November 7, 2023 Winston was born in Montgomery, Alabama. Following a brief illness, he died surrounded by loving care at his home In Ormond Beach, Florida. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Rachel, daughters Brooke, Jodie and Janel as well as his sister June, brothers Tony and Michael and grandchildren Zoe and Adam. Winston grew up in Westport, New York. He attended Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. He had a great love for the waters of Lake Champlain and Lake George. Boating was one of his favorite activities of which he took full advantage. Winston worked for the New York State Corrections Department for 27 years. He also served in the Navy as a member of the Sea Bees. Winston had a friendly, outgoing manner and was always willing to help his neighbors. They thought highly of him and his sense of generosity. He will be sorely missed by all
