Yvonne F. Lang-Waterman
Yvonne F. Lang-Waterman was born on February 28, 1959 in Staten Island, NY to Frances Sabo nee Dillon and the late Phillip George Lang. She passed away peacefully on January 22, 2013 in Port Orange, FL at the age of 53.
Yvonne moved to Florida in 1988 from Keansburg, New Jersey. She was an avid wildlife and nature lover, volunteering her time to assist the local wildlife rescue and humane society of South Florida. Yvonne enjoyed fishing, crafting and beading, camping, going to the beach, and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren most of all. Yvonne was also very active in helping with recovery programs with the local NA & AA groups.
In addition to her father, Yvonne is preceded in death by her loving husband Joe Waterman.
She is survived by her children; Jason Flanagan and wife Carrie of KY, Timothy Flanagan Jr. and wife Angela of FL, Kathy Pickett and husband Zack, and Colleen and Vinny Flanagan, both of FL, her mother and father, Frances and Peter Sabo of FL, bothers; Peter Sabo, Mark Sabo, and Christopher Sabo and wife Melissa, all of NJ, grandchildren; Phillip, Frankie, Amelya, and Emmalee, and the father of her children, Timothy Flanagan Sr.
Memorial services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 6:00 pm from the chapel of Heritage Funeral & Cremation Service, 620 Dunlawton Ave. Port Orange, FL 32127. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until time of services at 6:00 PM.
