I met Ashley in 2008, via social media, on TAGGED through my mother

We became friends on Facebook, over a year later, for I was deleting my TAGGED ACCOUNT
We spoke often through messages through the years..
And thee Music. We shared endless music. We connected through the Music we shared and loved.
From there we developed and built this friendship. Ashley helped me to learn to trust again. To trust that good people still exist in this World. I had built this huge wall around me, he slowly but surely broke through. With kindness and compassion, he was teaching me to love again.. True Story!
One night he messaged me, asking if we can talk on the phone. I thought about it for a few moments, said sure, why not. Messaged Ash my #
Within minutes he called me, I got a bit nervous, but answered.. Hello there, it's me Ashley. Hey there, I replied. OMG, HIS VOICE I whispered to myself ( big smile ) First time we spoke and not the last!
Ashley and I shared so much our lives with each other, from there on out. From Music, hobbies, stories, his work, my work, Military, family, food, his Mica, cars, everyday life etc.. The list goes on. He was definitely a Military Brat growing up, with no shame in saying so lol. There were many endless nights when he was in his Limo, waiting or what. We would talk for hours
I knew I had fallen. The Man I had fallen in love with. The Man I knew I would meet in person, that had me head over heels. The man I was now able to share such a deep love with. The man that carried so much love and compassion within. We connected so deeply through Heart, Soul and Spirt. ( a first for me ) We spoke of meeting in person. Omg, I can hardly wait I told him. Me too he replied. We had something amazing to look forward too. I knew I found the one.. Little did I know ( deep sigh )
Pre Covid!
Everything changed. Ash became quiet and distant. Hard to reach. I reached out to his Mother Jean, whom connected me with his Sister Catherine. I learned of what happened.
Ashley finally contacted me, but he was not doing well. He did explain everything to me, I became so broken.
He told me not to worry, so I didn't. The full scope hadn't been known yet.
As days went on, we spoke when he was able. He reminded me of better days, and to hold onto them closely.
Our last conversation via phone. We both spoke of the Love we had and shared. The love we shared in Soul and Spirit. Ashley said.. If I don't make it here on Earth to meet you Robin, I will be waiting for you in the Heavenly Realms. I missed his last 2 calls, he left me a Voice Message. I still have 3 from him. When I need comfort, I listen to his messages. His voice always had a calm on me.
