Ashley Scott Fagan's Obituary
ASHLEY SCOTT FAGAN
JUNE 19, l963-SEPTEMBER 14 2022
It is with heavy hearts that Jeffery and I acknowledge the passing of our brother, Ashley Scott Fagan. He was the son of United States Air Force Lt. Col. Greynold Menzel Fagan and Jean lsabel Day Fagan. Ashley's siblings are lsabel Ann Fagan Graham, James Craig Fagan, Catherine Louise Fagan, Jeffery Grey Fagan, Mark William Fagan. His father, Grey, and brother, James Craig shined the light Home.
Born in Merced, California, on June 19, 1963, Ashley was raised predominantly on air bases-among them Castle AFB, California; Kincheloe AFB, Michigan; McCoy AFB, Florida. Our brother loved the privilege of being a military brat. Ashley attended Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, Florida, as a proud Pioneer. His working years began in his early teens at the iconic Huh Cap World on South Orange Blossom Trail in Orlando. Jim Alford, founder of the business, mentored Ashley to partnership level. Hub Cap World was itself a popular attraction. Celebrities, including musicians Def Leppard, and actor Roy Scheider, were treated to Ashley's boyish charm, dry wit, and southern hospitality.
ln his later years, Key Largo was Ashley's beloved home of choice. There, he remained an entrepreneur, operating a limousine service. This was a passion of his, as he loved driving, the freedom of the road, and being of service to others. He had a brief marriage and had no children. Ashley had many keen pursuits in his life. Among the many that well defined him were:
- Business lnnovations
- Military History & Aviation
- Antique Automobiles & Restoration
- NASCAR
- Native American Culture
- Raising Russian Wolfhounds
- Music-Big Band, Classical, Classic Rock
- The Perfect Pizza
We would like to acknowledge family and special friends that our loved one spoke fondly of during the last two years of his life. Please forgive any unintentional omissions.

This is a nationally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit foundation for feral felines in Key Largo. lt features a Trap/Neuter/Spay/Release program, as well as staff and volunteers who replenish and maintain over 70 feeding stations to nourish free-roaming cats. Those that are spayed or neutered, but cannot be returned to the wild, are given sanctuary at the Grayvik Center. They are then put up for adoption.
Ashley leaves in our good care, his beloved orange tabby, Nika, who misses her Poppa.
A gathering in Ashley's honor will be announced at a future date. Meanwhile, we each mark his passing in our own loving way. Rest in Paradise, Dear One.
Shepherd show me
How to go
O'er the hillside steep
How to gather
How to sow
How to feed thy sheep
I will listen for Thy Voice
Lest my footsteps stray
I will follow and rejoice
All the rugged way
