Edward Arnold Meyers Sr.'s Obituary
It is with immense sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Edward Arnold Meyers, Sr. of Palm Coast, Florida on March 4, 2026.
Born and raised in Newark, New Jersey on February 7, 1941, Edward was a man of great integrity with a strong work ethic as a dedicated electrician and later as a safety watcher in very dangerous high voltage electrical yards. He was proud to have received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in October 1959.
But most of all, Edward was a loving father, brother and husband. His enormous and selfless love and dedication for the love of his life for nearly 62 years of marriage, could not have been more evident right up until his passing, as he served as her devoted caretaker through her time of need.
Edward is preceded in death to mother Claire Meyers, father John Meyers and brothers John and Frank Meyers. He is survived by his sister Louise Meyers Gibbons and brother James Meyers, his beloved wife, Rose Marie Meyers, their two sons, Edward Arnold Meyers, Jr. and Paul John Meyers, along with their wives, Eileen Miller Meyers and Christel Donath Meyers. He was very grateful to have had six beautiful grandchildren: Carissa, Briana, AJ, Evan, Kira and Connor and also six great-grandchildren: Lilliana, Russell, Mason, Autumn, Everett and Anthony.
He has always enjoyed fishing, crabbing, horse racing, the casino and cooking, as well as sharing memories of his past. It is with all our love, that we say goodbye, and live to share fond memories of him.
As per his wish, there will be no public memorial service, but rather a very intimate spreading of his ashes at sea off the coast of Atlantic City, New Jersey. Heritage Funeral and Cremation Service of Bunnell, Florida assisted the family with arrangements. https://www.HeritageFlagler.com
