I’m at a loss for words during this sorrowful time. Gerry was one who made the world brighter just by being in it. I will always miss her unconditional friendship, she would always share life with gentle hands, kind words, and a caring heart. Wishing your family peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts. Rest in peace my dear friend.
My sweet cousin is very much missed. I have great memories of the two of us picking blue berries all morning, cashing out by noon and walking to the beach.
We were planning on getting together this summer, I’m so sorry that I didn’t get to see her. Rest in peace, I’ll see you in the blueberry fields.

I know Gerry since being a graduate student at University of Miami. She is such a kind and friendly lady. She invited me and my father who was visiting oversea at that time to her house in South Miami. I have the fond memories of meeting her husband Mick, her humorous mother, sister, sons, and grand kids. This friendship kept on going after I moved to her home state of Michigan to pursue the physician residency training. It is God's arrangement! I got to meet her extended families of niece and other sisters here in Michigan. When Gerry and Mick visited Muskegon in the summer en route from FL, they stopped by my house meeting my family. When my family did camping trip in Muskegon area, we would see Gerry. Whenever we had chance, we will try to meet! We talked about food, family, book, her medical condition...
After my kids were born, they got to know Gerry too. They are very sad when hearing the shocking news of her passing away. We last saw Gerry on March 24, 2024. She lives in our heart!
We miss Gerry dearly! She is such a gentle soul.

Our family are very blessed to be friends with Gerry and MIck, having spent a lot of time with them and the big family over the years in Miami, Flagler Beach, and Washington DC. Our kids call them Auntie and Uncle. Many happy memorries of dining, talking, shopping, hiking, fishing, and more dining (like in our wedding,...), ... She is always very kind to us and she is like a family to us. She is loving, gentle, humorous and a very beautiful person. Gerry and Mick will be in our loving memories forever!
