When Jim passed his interviews with the Chief of Investigators Division, I was the person who processed his paperwork/fingerprint cards, etc. and the day he retired Jim was still the same inquisitive, kind and polite person. That's not to say he didn't have a dry sense of humor - because I was at the other end several times. My best memory of Jim is when he told EVERYONE in the office he and Liz were renewing their wedding vows. He was glowing with love and pride. It was a great thing to see.
Liz and Jim had many adventures & 1 brought them to NC for a ham radio rally & they segued to visit us on their cycles - never a dull moment.
I bet everyone Jim met during his short life will also have fond memories. The world has lost a wonderful person, but the heavens, Liz and Kim have a special angel. Stan Michalik HCPO 1979-2011
