James H Howe III's Obituary
James Henry Howe III was born in Paterson, New Jersey on Sunday, October 5, 1958, and passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at just 64 years old. James, also known to most as Jim, got married to his beautiful wife Elizabeth Howe May 8, 1982. They had one child, a daughter named Kimberlie in July of 1996. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Kimberlie; grand puppy, Champion; brothers Dr. John Howe, William Howe, Harrison Howe and sister-in-law Dee Howe; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Charlotte Howe, and father James Henry Howe Jr. Jim lived a hero’s life, he volunteered on the First Aid Squad in Wanaque, New Jersey in the late 70s, was a dispatch officer for the Glenridge Police Department and was later sent to the Police Academy where he became a sworn Glenridge Police Officer for 10 years, he then went to Hudson County Prosecutors office in Jersey City, New Jersey where he served 15 years as a Detective. He retired in 2003 and made the move with his family to Palm Coast, Florida where he went into his second career as a Computer Technician for Flagler County Schools and retired again after working 17 years. Jim loved to scuba dive, talk on Ham radio, ride motorcycles, watch his only daughter bowl for Florida State, teach his daughter’s boyfriend Marco how to work on cars and spend time with his family. Jim was also a thrill seeker, from feeding sharks to zip-lining hundreds of feet over the Las Vegas streets, Jim always wanted to try and explore new adventures with his daughter. Kimberlie promises to continue new adventures for her father.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 5th at 12 noon at the Howe family residence for family and friends. 43 Rippling Brook Dr, Palm Coast, Fl, 32164
