Jim sat directly behind me at St. Peter's Lutheran church. He bugged me incessantly and I wouldn't have had it any other way! If someone new dared sit in his seat, he would ask them to see their ticket. He was a season ticket holder for that particular pew! I used to buy pistachios for him at the commissary. When his beloved Sharlene died, Jim pretty much lost his spunk. He was still loved by many of his St. Peter's friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.
Jim always shared MSU support with my husband Fred and I for years. They realized they were both in Korea during the same time. When Fred was sick, Jim called him once a week to talk and raise his spirits.
I’m gonna miss not sitting next to him at Grace Anglican, his recently adopted church
