James H Neville's Obituary
James H. Neville, passed away in Daytona Beach, FL on May 23, 2020.
He was the beloved husband of Karen Neville, father of James Jr., Alan, grandfather of Tristan and “Cappy” to his step-family. His sisters-in-law, Ingrid and Lillian, and so many of the Bakken/Nilsen family grew to love the unique laughter and spirit that was Jim.
He was an avid sailor who loved the ocean, loved life, loved his friends and above all, wanted nothing more than to hear everyone laugh and be happy.
When he wasn’t traveling on his beautiful “second home” sailboat, Lark, Jim was building things. It didn’t matter what it was, he saw any project as a challenge. His bookshelves are filled with self- taught knowledge that he applied in his daily life. In “retirement” he worked for several years as a handyman in Palm Coast as “1st Call Handyman Service”.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Neville and Shirley Turcotte Neville.
A celebration of his life will take place in Deep River, Connecticut,
(if this Coronavirus will ever let us gather together again), at the first opportunity.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Heart Association.
