Uncle Lenny,
When I think of you, I remember the way you welcomed us with hugs and open arms every time we visited Florida. We looked forward to spending time with you, Aunt Adeline, and our wonderful 5 cousins. We shared so many fish frys and other meals together, and many, many laughs. Steph, Sherry, Steve & I just loved when we got to spend time with you all!
I personally enjoyed hearing your many stories & history you lived. Your love for cooking, and sharing recipes with us every time we saw you was just unique and interesting. Those will always be in my heart and mind as great memories.
I'll miss seeing you at family gatherings, as I did with Aunt Adeline since 2002. It won't be the same without you, but, my fond memories will keep me going. I love you, Uncle Lenny. Say hello to Aunt Adeline for me! xx
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Greene Family. Please accept our heartfelt condolences, John, Kathy and Garth.
So hard to put into words how much I miss you, Uncle Lenny. I can't remember a time when you weren't in my life, so many wonderful, happy memories of time spent with you, Aunt Adeline and your boys when we were kids...and more great times we've shared as adults. Will miss your stories, your sense of humor, your great cooking and our conversations about everything from the history of Kerhonkson to recipes.... Rest in Peace, Uncle Lenny. You may be gone from this earth, but you will never be forgotten and you'll always be loved by so many whose hearts you touched.
We'll miss you, Lenny. But, we have many happy memories to ease the ache in our hearts. There were so many good times when our children were growing up. We had a lot of fun. Rest in peace and walk those streets of gold with Adeline.
We'll miss you, Lenny. But, we have many happy memories to ease the ache in our hearts. There were so many happy times when our children were growing up. Remember the 80 catfish you all caught that had to be skinned before we could eat them? They sure tasted good!
You fought the good fight, now rest in peace, and walk those streets of gold with Adeline.
