To My Dear Husband,

Thank you for all the wonderful memories. I cannot remember a day that there wasn't a "I Love You"; a day full of kisses and hugs. You are not gone, you are here in a different place. I will find you in my heart where our love forever lives on. In the times when I'm alone I look for you in my thoughts and sweet memories. Every time a tear forms in my eyes, I look up to the heavens and there I see you smiling down from God's glorious skies. To my Dad I want to say... I love You! Thank You for all the warm, happy memories of my childhood! Thank you Dad for those special hugs and for the times you carried Dina or I over your shoulder saying... My sack of potatoes!! Thank You for your creative nature which rubbed off on me! Those special Christmas memories with our house decorated with red & green light bulbs, the santa sleigh & raindeers, the angels & choir boys, etc, will always be remembered. Thank You for the warm family gatherings with the relatives during the holidays. How you & Mom(Evelyn) made it so special. Thank You for the ice skating rink in the back yard and the lighted rock garden which brightened up our yard! I could go on and on! You showed so much love to us growing up in creating beautiful family memories. You and Mom made our house a home! A solid foundation I will always cherish! I miss you, Dad! May you be resting in the arms of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ.

We had many wonderful trips to Florida to visit Larry and Marty. Years ago, on the first trip, Larry and Marty were living in Marty's mother's home, and Larry had a boat and skis and took our girls (Sharon, Rocky and Joyce) skiing.

The trip I really enjoyed the most was in 1977, because we took my sister, Verna with us. Larry and Marty lived in a 2 story home in Titusville, which was across the Indian River from Cape Canavarel (which we visited while there). We brought Missouri apples for Larry. This was in November close to Larry's birthday (Nov 6). It was a blessing to me and so good to see my oldest siblings, Larry and Verna, being together and enjoying each other.

We had the twins, Dina and Dona, one summer in Sedalia. They had an enjoyable time - they detassled corn, went to see the Circus in KC, and their Dad,Larry, joined us for the 4th of July and set off fireworks. It was a blessing to our family to have the twins all that summer.

I will miss hearing Larry's voice. I know I will see him again. I love you, big brother.

Uncle Larry was a very sweet man. Didn't get to see him whole lot but I do remember the times that we did were great .He always had a way of making everybody smile. My father loved him dearly.We always had a good time whenever we did see Larry.After i graduated high school 1978 we took a trip to Titusville Florida to see my sister but also to visit my uncle Larry and my aunt Marty. It was 1 of the best summers I had in my life it was where I tried to learn how to ski and kept falling flat on my face again uncle Larry to bring out that smile and everybody smiled with him rest in peace uncle Larry

I remember the dust bow dy living in Kansas when Larry built those kites that flew high over the sun parched land of great bend Kansas. When we moved to Missouri between Christmas and New Year1936, Larry rode with the trucker to keep himn from going to sleep. In Missouri, a drough occurred with grasshoppers but Larry didnt let that bother him, he went to the field working the ground, driving 4 "thicknecked " Mules. Larry along with Dad, Louis Jr and I got up at 5AM to milk the cows before breakfast and school. Those were tough days but Larry endured it all. When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941, Larry like a lot of other patroitic boys immediately volunterred their services in the Armed Forces.. He will not be forgotten..

I feel so very fortunate to have met and know Larry. He was a kind, warm,strong human being. Tall and handsome with a huge heart. Have so many fond memories of the many times we played Mexican Train, shared meals and would never forget to give him a kiss when I entered the house.
Always knew if there was ever a time of need, all I would have to do is give him a call for help. The devotion that he and Marty shared was much to be admired. Thank you Larry for all your advice and caring. You will be missed.

Thank you Dad for all the loving and fond memories. Thank you for the values and virtues you instilled in me, they formed a strong foundation for meeting the many life challenges, I miss you so much,,especially hearing your voice in our weekly phones calls. Larry left for the amy air core when I was age 4. He was my (big brother)and I only got to visit with him now and then as we went through life. Larry was a flight engineer instructor and I was in Naval avaition and we would swap stories about our airborne times. My memories are great because He was a great guy. Marty , thanks for taking care of my brother. Fair winds and following seas.

Uncle Larry.....my oldest Uncle. I'm so thankful for the closeness you had with my mother Verna (your sister). In her last months in the nursing home, she looked forward to the times when Larry and Marty would call her. I know she wished she could get out of that wheelchair and go visit with you......She had a special place in her heart for her brother Larry...... I have fond memories from many years ago, when we all got together during the Holidays at Grandma Hulda's and Grandpa Louis's home. - and the fun times we had playing with all the cousins, visiting with aunts and uncles - the dinners, singing Christmas songs. fireworks in the front yard. Uncle Larry and family where there to share some of those times. Marty, my sympathies, my prayers are with you. Uncle Larry will be missed!!
