Reading this breaks my heart. I was the flower girl in her wedding. She brought my Aunty Deloris (everyone on Burgess Pl called her aunt Deloris) to visit me right after my cancer diagnosis. My fondest memory was going shopping with her for my flower girl dress then going for breakfast and some goodies. She gave me some really good advise. Ill never forget seeing her driving that Leggs truck. This one hurts. I hope you, your beautiful mom and my mom are in heaven laughing it up.
Marian was one of the most genuine people, I ever met. She was thoughtful, compassionate, dedicated and honest. If you ever met her you know what I am talking about. She never held back her words and she always spoke her mind. She had no filter. But that’s what we loved most about her. She was a member of our Steeler club with her daughter Regina. And when a bad play came you would hear her yelling at the tv. We all will miss her dearly. She always said she was there for Regina, that our club was Regina’s happy place. On the day of her passing, Regina called me to give me the news. We were having our Halloween party that day, in the past Marian and Regina did a trunk a treat with us! During a commercial break, my husband played. This is Halloween. All of a sudden the tv, we all watch, upfront picture went out and only came back on when the song was over. We all looked at each other and said, That was Marian. We will miss you Marian. I promised you once. I will always look after Regina. She will always be part of our Steeler Family.
I love and miss you so much aunt Marian💔. Even after death, I still got your back and will follow through with EVERYTHING you asked me to do🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. RIP my love 🤞🏾
Marion and I share the same grandmother Rose Marshall. MY grandmother had grown a fruit on her property . Well Jennifer, Marion and I tried to make wine from the grapes. The most recent was Marion,REGINA, I went to the beach and Msrion had sitting on a chair with back against the west. I was so thrilled. I.will never forget my cousin Marion Yette Marshall Howell. Rest in Peace .
Condolences to the family from me and Tony. So many memories, growing up in Passaic, those school days, socials, the drill team and lots of friends and fun. Then our college days, I'll always remember her wild and crazy ways. And all the fun times at our favorite get away at her home in Palm Coast. What is the best thought, that our moms were special friends. She lives in my heart as a fighter and true friend, love you forever!
I lived on Burgess Place, My Twin Brother Jimmy and I along with Marian and her Sister Jennifer would race up and down the street, we weren’t allowed to cross the street. I have to be honest, Marian and Jennifer could run. Finally in the kindergarten we met face to face and my childhood friend became a friend for a lifetime. I grew up with my Dear friend Marion from age 5 and we have remained friends every since, I will miss hanging out with her and Regina and othe friends from Passaic, I thank God for allowing me to be part of Marion's Life ,may My Burgess Pl friend Rest In Peace 😎✌️❤️❤️
