Martha was one in a million and will be missed by all of “her girls!” at JCPenney . What wonderful memories we all have,, it was a special 10 years of my life. Resting in God’s loving arms now awaiting the eventual arrival of all her loved ones ,as well as rejoicing being with her family members who have previously passed. She always had a good listening ear for personal or business. So very talented in doing hair and always eager to help if we needed it. She loved us all and we knew it and the feeling was mutual which made us a family. I know she is with Jesus now. Rest in peace Martha. Lisa Holcomb Cameron

My first job right out of beauty school. 1975, Castilian Hair Fashions. WOW! I was so scared and so intimidated. All those seasoned hairstylists and me. The first person I came to was Martha Baker. She welcomed me with so much enthusiasm. I sat and watched her for weeks, learning all I could. She was my mentor, my long time friend. We shared a faith in God and helped each other through some tough days. But we still had so much fun. Jim and I are heartbroken over loosing an old friend. Rest in Peace Miss Martha. Hope to see you again someday. I’m gonna have to be extra good now!!
