Hello, I am a graduate of Woodbury High School in 1965. I am sorry to hear of Mr. Toy’s passing. I sent a post on the Facebook alumni page for the 65,66,67 and 68 year graduates. I received so many replies .
Mr. Toy is remembered by so many of his former students.
A brief summary of their comments about their memory of our former teacher is….Sad news, Super nice man, Dedicated man, Loved him, Prayers to his family, Was very kind, So much fun in his travel club program ,
And Very supportive as advisor to the School Newspaper Staff.
It has been fifty -five years since Mr. Toy taught us and his memory is still fresh in our minds!

I love you, Dad. I am so very proud of you. You are amazing and you are always with me, Pop. I shall feel your hand in mine just like I did when you would walk me to kindergarden and all thru my life. Thanks Pop, for my life and for your love and silly ways. Give Mom a kiss for me and hi to Snicklefritz. A true honor to care for you and to just say yes, I am Mr Toy's daughter. It must be amazing to now be able to see out of two eyes and be back reunited with your girl, Sallie.

I met Paul at a duplicate bridge club in 2014, and became partners for the games. We became friends, and shared cruises, lunches, and a trip to Japan. He was a good friend, and I'm glad to have known him.
