Pop, you were the best Dad a kid could ask for. Always gave me advice and you never were upset when I didn't take it. That was a good lesson for me raising my three monsters, er kids. You were even a better grandfather. My kids all loved their Pappy. Well, we all have mom still, and we see you in her. We'll take good care of her, although not as good as you did. No one can do that. I know you're with the Lord and we will all see you soon. Tell Uncle Paul and Peggy and Mom Sherwood and all our other loved ones we lost that we miss them....but now you're there to tell them your goofy jokes and talk sports. I'll miss you beyond words Ol' Man. Your loving son.
Pete, you and i were friends for the last 40 years and I will surly miss you. Our dinners out with the 4 of us and you and I going to the different gun shows on occasion. You were a fantastic husband to Carol and did everything for her. If she needs anything remember we will be there for her. Rest in peace.
You have always been the father in law I admired since day one. You were the rock, the glue and the solid foundation that kept the family together despite differences. I have always respected you the way you should have and kept it that way. You are missed. You are loved by so many near and far. You will be forever missed. Rest in peace Dad. Love, Dee Marie
I will miss you dearly Pete I remember the first time I met you and Carol all most 4 years ago at Denny's for dinner with My dear friend Gary , I liked you both that first night ,and then Pete Love to tease me about my food ball team ,his Giants were the best not Pete my Patriots are and it killed me to put your shirt on for your Irish wake but I did it just for you, because I did Love you and will miss you so much and don't worry Gary and I will be there for Carol the Love of your life .
I am shocked and heartbroken at your early departure. I have such wonderful memories of you and Carol going back oh so many years ago. You had an amazing funny personality that always kept us laughing. And you were the most loving and giving friend and such an amazing husband to Carol. I have always admired the bond the two of you had. You both were meant for each other. I am so sorry Carol for your loss. I will call you soon.
I will always be your little girl. I miss and love you more than you could ever imagine. We will take care of each other, especially Mom. Watch over us, guide us, love us...just as you did in life. I love you Pop!
Well Pete.....I don't quite know what to say.....your way to early departure has left me shocked and speechless. I don't remember a time when you were not in my life. I'll miss our brief Monday night chats and your sense of humor. You were a wonderful husband, father, and brother to me. You have left a whole in many hearts, but I know you are with us all in spirit. Rest in Peace my friend......May God hold you in the palm of His hands.
