Although I know what a good person Rich was, the only time I was really ever around him was at a Thanksgiving dinner you invited us to. After dinner, you headed out to take Ace home. Everyone was talking about what a dedicated math teacher Ace had been. It really cracked Rich up when I let it 'slip' what new business Ace had taken up, now that he had retired from teaching, and how well he was known all over the beach. He thought that was hilarious that he had just shared dinner with such a notorious character!
